Pauls Ancient Scots Pine Alladale Scotland (2)
This ancient Scots pine is at the entrance to the Alladale glen where the remnants of the Caledonian Forest that 10,000 years ago once covered much of Scotland sits. Over one million Scots pines have been planted through the Glen in the last twenty years hopefully restoring some of the forest. Photograph in the early morning.
